Crochet by Lisset

About

It began with a ball of yarn and my mother's hands.

Cuban by birth, I live in Miami now. Between the two, a whole life of thread.

At eight years old

My mother sat me down beside her and taught me my first stitch. I was eight, and she had no idea she was planting a passion that has never let go of me since.

Today, from Miami

I hand-make garments for babies, girls and women, and pieces for the home. Each one is made slowly, stitch by stitch, with care for every detail, until it is as special as the person about to receive it.

And now, your hands

You will also find chosen yarn here, and the patterns for many of my designs. Because there is a joy that only arrives when the piece comes off your own hands, and that is the one thing I cannot make for you.

Crochet is not only knitting: it is carrying on the tradition my mother began, turning thread into something one of a kind, and keeping alive an art that has been with me since I was a child.

Welcome to Crochet by Lisset — a place built with experience, creativity and, above all, a great deal of love.

I hope every piece you find here brings you a little of this story, which began among threads, in my mother's hands.
